NUV configuration
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Use CFG\NUVMENUS.CFG to configure the nuv menus/prompts and MNUTXT\NUVTXT#
to define the NUV lightbar menu text. The normal nuv text can be found in
GRAPH\NUVTEXT.
Line 1 :
Token 1: YES forces users to vote on all users before exiting NUV.
Token 2: If you answered NO to the first option and there are votes
pending then a YES here will display the GRAPH\NUVVOT file
and ask the user if he wants to vote now. Otherwise the user
will immediately be put in the main voting menu.
Token 3: YES to allow abstain votes, otherwise they will be disallowed.
Token 4: If a user with a lower security then the new user security
passes through and this is YES then he's shown GRAPH\NUVOUT,
which should contain a message explaining that he was
voted out.
If you don't want users with this lower security to be
disconnected put NO here.
Line 2 : YES to log nuv operations. If the user is not logged on the log info
is written to 'work\mxlog.<nodenr>', this to accomodate the usage
of this nuv ppe by my matrix ppe. If the user is logged on the
log info is written to the normal pcboard log file.
Line 3: YES to hangup on new users after they've been added to the NUV.
NO to let them login anyway. This is also used when a new user logs
logs in again, he will see his voting status (GRAPH\NUVSTAT) before
being logged of or continuing according to this option.
Line 4 : Yes votes needed to vote a user in. Make this 0 if the sysop
is required to vote YES to allow the user access no matter how
much times users vote YES.
Line 5 : No votes needed to deny a user access. Make this 0 if the sysop
is required to vote NO to kick the user out no matter how much times
users vote NO.
Line 6: Security to give a user who was voted out. Enter -1 to flag the
user for deletion. His security will be set to 0 (so that he cannot
log in). Entering -2 also adds the user name to the 'unwanted' file
of the matrix so they won't be able to apply again.
Note that this should be smaller (not equal) than the new user
security in pcboard.dat.
Line 7 : Security to give to a user who was voted in. This should be greater
(not equal) than the new user security in pcboard.dat.
Line 8 : Minimum security needed to be able to vote on new users
Line 9 : Security needed to be able to see the first infoform for any user.
Line 10: Security needed to be able to see the second infoform for any user.
Line 11: etc etc....
NUV Notes: When you change the security before he has been voted in/out
manually or something the users will still be voted on but when
it comes to changing their security nothing will happen.
